Preserving our Promise, Continuing our Legacy: The USC School of Medicine Columbia
Our journey began with a commitment to provide doctors to our beloved state. Today, we not only stand as steadfast contributors to this commitment, but as dedicated educators committed to a promise of improving patient care and advancing scientific discovery for South Carolina.
Every commencement ceremony breathes life into a perpetual pipeline of skilled physicians, compassionate allied health care professionals, and visionary scientists. They fan out across every corner of our state, making an impact in the lives of hundreds of thousands of people. Yet, this year is particularly momentous. In May, our school will surpass 5,000 graduates, who will join a passionate community of alumni with diverse skill sets and specialties that also carry our promise with them.
As we celebrate this milestone and honor our alumni family, we extend an invitation. Join us in this year’s Give 4 Garnet challenge – 500 donors, each contributing $5 or more. On March 20-21, let us come together as we #Strive4Five to preserve our promise and continue our legacy of impacting the health of all South Carolinians and beyond.
