Thomas Cooper Library is a hub of activity with thousands of students coming through the doors each day to study individually and in groups. They can get research support, tutoring, and take a break between classes. Thomas Cooper Library serves the whole campus and is often a meeting space for small group lectures, book club meetings, scholarly displays, and other events that engage the university community in conversation.
Students love the library and often spend long hours in their home away from home. This means our furniture is “well loved” and due for replacement.
Help us to update this vital space on campus with furnishings that meet the needs of today’s students. This will include modern style seating, power outlets, and movable chairs and tables to support the flexibility needed in this multi-function space. Popular items like whiteboards and tech coops help students be more comfortable, productive, and successful in their academic work.
