Our mission is to provide the best possible student-athlete experience. The more we invest in our student-athletes, the more successful they can become. At South Carolina, we strive to constantly raise the standard. By raising the bar for our student-athletes, we are ensuring the continued success of all Gamecock programs. We aim to raise financial support for South Carolina student-athletes with this powerful initiative. As proven by recent success, there is a direct correlation between investment and victory. Here at South Carolina, we are investing in our student athletes to ensure they graduate as upstanding, strong, and dynamic leaders. Our goal is to develop our student-athletes to be prepared to take on the next step of their lives ready to lead with confidence. They are our future and at South Carolina we take pride in preparing them to be their best.
WHAT DOES IT SUPPORT?
The Beyond Sports Program provides professional development and summer internship initiatives designed to prepare student-athletes for success beyond their playing careers. Beyond Sports provides meaningful, hands-on internship experiences aligned with each student-athlete’s academic major, while also offering workshops focused on professionalism, personal branding, financial education, networking, and career readiness.
