The Competitive Club Cheer Team at the University of South Carolina is entering its inaugural season as a student-led program dedicated to athletic excellence, school spirit, and building a strong competitive presence on campus. As a brand-new team, we are laying the foundation for a program that will represent Carolina with strength, unity, and pride.
Our team provides students the opportunity to train at a high level, compete at regional and national events, and grow as leaders both on and off the mat. This first year is about more than competition; it’s about establishing traditions, building a culture of accountability and excellence, and creating a lasting legacy for future Gamecocks.
Our mission is to develop confident, disciplined athletes while fostering teamwork, resilience, and leadership. We envision a competitive program that becomes a recognized and respected part of the Carolina community for years to come.

Fueling Our First Season
Launching a competitive team requires significant startup costs. Your support directly funds essential first-year expenses, including:
$750 – Covers a full athlete competition package (registration fees, choreography, and team expenses)
$400 – Covers the cost of one comp fee
$350 – Covers a competition uniform piece for one athlete
$100 – Cover the cost of due for one athlete
$75 – Covers one practice wear
$50 – Covers team-building and leadership development activities
$25 – Covers the cost of team bows
