At the University of South Carolina Press we publish books that lead to informed conversations and a deeper understanding of the history, culture, nature, and society of the American South and beyond.
We offer a unique experience for USC students through our internship program where undergrads have the opportunity to learn the ins and outs of scholarly publishing from top industry professionals.
Thanks to your donations last year, we are now paying our interns a $1,000 stipend. Like many nonprofit publishers, we rely on support from interns to complete our daily work and share our excellent publications with the world.
Because of a generous offer from The Jeffcoat Firm, the first $2,500 we raise during Give 4 Garnet this year will be matched with another $2,500!
Help us raise $6,000 during Give4Garnet 2025 to continue growing this initiative making our prestigious learning opportunity with an academic press accessible to all USC students.
