What is Give for Garnet: A Day of Giving?

Give for Garnet is one day each year when the University of South Carolina comes together to celebrate the significant impact that Carolina has on our community, our state and the world. All alumni, parents, friends, students, faculty and staff will unite on one day, in one voice, to make an investment in the future of Carolina.

How do I make a gift?

Save the date April 10, 2019, when you can support any of our exciting campaigns via this website. Additional information on pre-giving opportunities will be announced in early 2019.

What areas can giving day donors support?

Giving day donors are encouraged to give to the school, college or area that means the most to them. 

Is there a minimum donation amount?

We’re hoping for participation from as many members of the Carolina family as possible this year—every little piece makes an impact! The University of South Carolina will be accepting donations of $1 or more on Give for Garnet: A Day of Giving.

What are challenges?

Challenges enhance the impact of each donor’s gift. Generous donors of the University of South Carolina have provided challenge funds that will be unlocked once we reach set goals. As we get closer to April 10, check the Challenges tab for more information.
