At the College of Engineering and Computing, we know the key to innovation and discovery is diverse points of view. Supporting first-generation students advances our mission to solve the problems of tomorrow, and we're proud to now offer this special group of students an opportunity to flourish, thanks to generous support from our donors. Help us set these students up for success during Give 4 Garnet 2022!
The CEC has already secured funding to launch our CEC Summer Start and First Generation Scholars Program, but we need your help to open doors for additional students in the first cohort. This group of students will have the opportunity to live on campus for three weeks prior to the start of the Fall 2022 semester. During this time, they’ll be able to get familiar with campus, take a three-credit-hour class, while also meeting new classmates and professors. Best of all, there is no cost to the students, and they’ll receive a four-year, $1,000 scholarship. With your gift today, you can open the door for more of these amazing students, who will become diverse and emerging leaders in the CEC.
