Gamecock CEO: The Gamecock CEO experience empowers student-athletes to become the CEO of their lives by providing the resources to educate, inspire, and holistically develop student-athletes as they transition into college and in preparation for life after graduation through professional, personal, and leadership development as well as service to their communities.
NIL Education: The Gamecock Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) department was created to spearhead and lead all associated NIL initiatives at the University of South Carolina. Alston Case: Following a recent Supreme Court decision in Alston vs. NCAA, each SEC member institution was awarded the discretion to determine criteria and methods to provide education-related benefits and academic achievement monetary awards to their student-athletes. Gamecock Athletics is proud to be one of the first to direct academic achievement monetary rewards to all its student-athletes.
"Intercollegiate athletics prepares our student-athletes for life after graduation," said Athletics Director Ray Tanner. "We are committed to supporting them during their time at South Carolina. The Gamecock Student-Athlete Promise Fund details the variety of commitments and services we provide to assist them in meeting all of their goals while at Carolina".
