College of Arts and Sciences
More choices, more possibilities.

What if you could impact the entire University of South Carolina with one gift?

Your investment in the College of Arts and Sciences Carolina Fund allows that, and more. The Carolina Fund gives us the greatest flexibility to support students in USC's largest college while also enhancing the educational experience across the Columbia campus.

Here's how the Carolina Fund will make an impact.

  • Elevate the student experience. 10,000 students call us their college in programs as wide ranging as biology, English, chemistry, dance, psychology and history. The Carolina Fund supports classroom enhancements, student research, study abroad and more, giving these students an education that prepares them for their future.
  • Connect alumni. The Carolina Fund supports alumni involvement, helping alumni stay connected to each other and serve as mentors to our students.
  • Support faculty excellence. Our professors and instructors teach students throughout the Columbia campus. The Carolina Fund supports their development as teachers, scholars and mentors for Carolina students.

Every day our students work on skills that will allow them to launch careers and serve their communities. So on this one day, we ask you to make an impact for them.

Your gift makes the most difference here. Can our students count on your support?

P.S. In addition to this opportunity to support our students, Dean Joel H. Samuels has renewed his Make the Dean Skate challenge. If we reach 500 donors in Give 4 Garnet 2023, the former roller derby coach will finally strap on some skates, take some lessons, and roll across Greene Street. Let's make it happen on 4.19.23.
