College of Social Work
Social Work Cares

A gift to the College of Social Work is an investment in the well-being of individuals, families and communities in South Carolina and beyond. We need your help as we work to solve problems that threaten our society including substance use disorders, interpersonal violence, mental illness, social justice and financial inequity. Your donation to the College of Social Work can:

  • Help a student graduate. The cost of an education can be unattainable without scholarship assistance. Your donation can make a difference in whether or not a social work student can get their degree.

  • Our students are heading to Japan in May to learn about global social work. Help support their learning experience for our first Social Work Maymester abroad and other study abroad opportunities for students. Your generosity will defray the costs of an otherwise financially unattainable trip.

  • Social Work is on the frontline of advocacy. Support students attending Social Work Day on the Hill and Social Work at the United Nations.

  • Stop food insecurity. As food costs rise, our COSW food pantry feeds students with little to no budget for healthy nutrition. Your donation can also help support COSW FoodShare boxes of fresh produce for students.

  • Our Wellness Committee hosts student events and supports the College’s prayer and meditation room. Your donation can provide help to maximize our student experience.

Show that social work cares. Please help the College of Social Work make an impact by giving to what inspires you. Your GIFT today will change the life of a student.
